I graduated from NC State in 2015 with a B.S. in Animal Science.  Since then, I spent almost 6 years working for Charles River Discovery Services in Morrisville, NC.  I began as a Research Technician focusing on in vivo study execution, but ultimately shifted focus to in vitro work as a Laboratory Technician.  I also worked as a business development intern during the summer for Vestaron.  In May 2021 I graduated fromt he Master of Microbial Biotechnology program at NC State.  This program uniquely combines industry collaboration with science and business coursework.  This May, I will be finishing my graduate studies and receiving my MBA with concentrations in Biosciences Management and Marketing. My goal throughout graduate school has always been is to expand my science background while also exploring business strategies.  I plan to pursue a career that will incorporate this fusion of business and science.
